Chelsea Sue Allen was born on May 15th, 1987 and grew up outside of Philadelphia. Allen's music is an eclectic mixture of countless influences. She draws inspiration from the likes of Grizzly Bear, Dr. Dog, Beach House, Arcade Fire, and St. Vincent for their ability to craft lush and intriging melodies. Both music and lyrics hold their own weight, coming together to create a sound that is both ambient and mesmerizing. She self-recorded and released her first album, Tiny Prizes, in December 2011.
