Lonker See is a project that started its activity as an ambient duo by Bartosz Boro Borowski and Joanna Kucharska, known from 1926 or Kiev Office. After recording EP, the band decided to expand the line-up with the recognized Tri-City jazz musicians – Tom Gadecki and Michał Gos and change the musical formula, exploring a wider spectrum of genres. In Lonker See music you can hear, among others, jazz, rock and psychedelic space sounds. Lonker See’s music is full of space, based on long forms and has plenty of room for improvisation. Their debut album “Split Image” was released in April 2016 by the label Music Is The Weapon. In mid-2017 they also released a double-CD album "Lonker Seessions / Live at Pijana Czapla", the first being a studio effort, and the second one a recording of the gig at the venue in Olsztyn, Poland. In 2018 the band was on tour, promoting their album "One Eye Sees Red" which was released on the Instant Classic label. Besides domestic locations, the tour covered Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Italy, Serbia, Hungary, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands. The band's latest regular studio release is "Hamza" issued in Feb 2020 on the Antena Krzyku label, though they also put out "Lonker Seesions - Duets" in October, an improvised music session recorded in 2017, featuring all the possible duo configurations of the band's members.
