Baker St's songwriter, Michelle Hutt, has been writing music for years, but only in August of 2009 did she get Mke Kennelly (Bass) and Kevin Oshinskie (Drums) to join her in this venture. They paddled along as a power pop/rock trio, playing shows around NYC, until the summer of 2010, when they gained Jimmy Nugent on lead guitar. And then there were 4. A quartet, if you will. Together, they have quirk-ily rocked at packed venues around Manhattan and Brooklyn such as the Sidewalk Cafe, Crash Mansion, Trash Bar, and The National Underground.

Baker St's influences range from Ben Kweller, Juliana Hatfield, and Kate Nash, to Muse, the Beatles, Looker, the Kinks, and, strangely enough, Harry and the Potters (their stage presence is incredible).

In sum, they are a quirky and excitable bunch of four who just love to play for an audience.
