Rónán Ó Snodaigh (born 1 January 1970 in Dublin, Ireland) is a musician, poet found member and lead vocalist in the musical group Kíla. He is considered to have revolutionised the playing of the Bodhrán and has released many solo albums.

Being brought up in an Irish-speaking home, his first musical love, was and is, the Irish hand drum, the bodhrán. As a bodhrán player on the streets of Dublin, he became part of a new-wave of Irish musicians whose roots originate among Dublin's busking culture. And it was here that he was heard by the renowned 80s band Dead Can Dance who subsequently brought him on tour with them for two years as percussionist -- featuring his playing on their live concert Towards the Within.

Meanwhile, Rónán's own band, Kíla, were steadily growing, and by 1993, with the release of their album Tóg é go bog é, had become a presence on the World music touring scene. Kíla have gone on to release nine albums and a concert DVD - 'Once Upon A Time' (www.kila.ie).

Rónán has produced four solo albums to date, including his 2010 album 'Water off a Duck's Back'. All songs were written by Rónán and the album also features Liam Ó Maonlaí on Keyboards, with Steve Cooney on guitar, Martin Brunsden on double bass, Conor Murray on drums and Simon O Reilly on electric guitar.
