The Last Starfighter was a post-hardcore/hardcore band from Houston, Texas, United States. They got their name from the 1984 science fiction movie.

Starfighter have toured across the US from coast to coast playing dates on larger tours such as Sounds of the Underground, Family Values, and various national tours. The Last Starfighter always stay just ahead of the status quo, never fitting in, or prescribing to, any scene or style. The Last Starfighter always finds a way to lift you up, make you move, and make you sing.
