Riverside 65 was formed in Fall 2009. Right away, the three members found they had the telepathic chemistry that is so unique to find between musicians. When forging their highly original compositions, the band looked to a wide range of artists from Jimi Hendrix to the Talking Heads, and Miles Davis to The Ventures.

They began performing in and around Wichita in April 2010 forming a solid, enthusiastic local fanbase over the summer months. In January of 2011 the band recorded their self released, debut EP. The record was released in February 2011 to much acclaim in Wichita's local music scene. The band performed a blistering set during their CD release party to a standing-room-only audience at Rock Island Live in downtown Wichita.

Riverside 65 is a tight and intense live band featuring Jace Wilbert's blazing, soulful guitar; Brandon McGuire's round, melodic bass grooves; and Sam Hake's hard-swinging beats.
