"Pocket Change", his first full-length CD of all original songs was released on August 29, 2006 and featured the single, "Seattle Lullaby", for which a music video was made
The Pocket Change tour covered the West Coast of the U.S. and lasted from the album’s release until June 2008 and featured Nathan alone at the piano at most performances, though he played a few spot gigs backed by a band.
He began dueling piano shows in July of 2008.
He released his second full-length CD, "Late Night Piano Bar", on November 18, 2008, featuring covers of Broadway songs as well as four originals - including two tracks from "A Simple Man", a musical he is scoring.
He played his first piano bar gig aboard Holland America's ship, the ms Westerdam, in November 2008.
He had the accolade of being the sonicbids.com top-booked artist in January 2009
"A Simple Man" saw it's first staged reading off-broadway in June 2009
He had the privilege of being the highest guest-rated piano bar entertainer in the entire 14 ship Holland America fleet for a large portion of 2009.
By the end of 2009, he had played around 300 shows aboard the ships and on land.
He was invited by Holland America to be the piano bar entertainer on the inaugural voyage of their newest ship, the ms Nieuw Amsterdam, in Europe
He performed on four ships in 2010, covering around 200 shows.
