Trey Eley, born Melvin Eley III, is an American Jazz & R&B flute artist. He also leads his own band, The Trey Eley eXperience.

Trey is active in the music community and serves as a voting member of the Washington, DC Chapter of The Recording Academy, better known as The Grammys.

Trey currently has 4 albums available to his credit: his debut solo album, "The Beginning", released in February 2007, "The Funky Flute EP", released in May 2009, "24th Music Presents: The Jazz Boyz: Volume One", released in 2008, and a collaborative project with Matthew Shell, "Freedom", released in 2012.

Trey has also performed and recorded with multiple Grammy nominated artists.
