* Merl Saunders - keyboards, vocals

The set lists were often a mix of Garcia originals, Merl Saunders originals as well as a diverse mix of covers by the likes of J.J. Cale, Jimmy Cliff, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder and many others.

Legion of Mary has a much more jazz/free-jazz/funk feel than normally associated with Jerry's work in the Grateful Dead. There are many great quality recordings in circulation.
