Warrior Poet is an European rock band, originally from Madrid (SP), formed in 2009 by vocalist Carlos Pavon, drummer Javi Martin and guitarists Miguel Nuñez and Dani Pereira. The band expanded to include bass player Ivan Perez
.

In 2009 the band released an EP (Self Titled) with 5 tracks without the support of a label, radio or television exposure.


In February 2010 Warrior Poet came back to the studio in Italy (LC) for the recording of their first album “THE PROMISE” in Aemme Records Studios, produced by Pietro Foresti and mixed and Mastered in Los Angeles (California) by Salvatore Addeo, Sylvia Massy, Rich Veltrop and Joe Gastwirt (Red Hot Chilli Peppers, System of a Down, Pearl Jam...).

Scott Russo from the American rock band Unwritten Law joined the project singing a song with Pavon (“The Promise”).

June 2010 Warrior Poet signs to the Independent Record Label MALDITO RECORDS.
July 24th the band made a show in Andorra to support Vinila Von Bismark and the Lucky Dados in HD Mountain Custom Festival.

July 28th Warrior Poet released their first single “The Promise Feat. Scott Russo”, reaching #1 on FM Radio charts such as Peperadio (89.3 FM Madrid).

September 6th 2010 they released their debut album “The Promise”.
