Halfway is an eight-piece alt-country band, formed in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia in 2000.

The group has released seven albums, and has been a darling of the local music press since their debut, [albumartist=Halfway]Fairwell to the Fainthearted, was released in 2003. Throughout their career, the group has received many awards and accolades, and their dreamy americana sound occupies a unique place in the Australian music scene.
