Battle Flags is a solo project from singer-songwriter Jack Budd. The independent album, ‘Color Engine’ is a sonic pop patchwork of summer bike rides, social change, neon love, drunken camaraderie and hope. The CD was tracked almost entirely in Jacks bedroom while he attended school for classical guitar in Richmond, VA. Instrumentation ranges from electronic synths, guitars, an array of loops and organic percussion such as pots, pans, shovels, empty kegs and even living room chairs.

Battle Flags(Jack) still resides in Richmond, VA and the first full-length debut, Color Engine is scheduled to be released in the spring of 2009.
