The Running Free Lyrics

All non believers stand aside in fear
A new day's marching through the door
How could you ever think you might get here?
Did it bleed?
Was it sore?
Through the struggles you've endured

You've come so far from innocence
Provided all the consequence
Only what does it matter now

Cause you're coming home
You're running free
As only you would be if you never owed them anything
And now you found your way out
In the trust you've seen your path on home

Spend your time well before you go
You're in hell

Your living ends before the engineer
What was the motive in this fight?
(Did they play you for the weaker of them?)
How could you ever think you might get here?
Was it greed that pushed your heart through the struggles you've endured?

You've come so far from innocence
Provided all the consequence
Only what does it matter now

Cause you're going home
You're running free
As only you would be if you never owed them anything
And now, you found your way out
In the trust you've seen your path on home

Spend your time well before you go
Here in hell

(There's a hell in all of us)
Spend your time well before you go
(There's a hell in all of us)
You were lost its all your own
(There's a hell in all of us)
There are no secrets you can hide
From yourself, in your mind
Leave the worst of all behind

Cause you're going home
You're running free
As only you would be if you never owed them anything
And now, you found your way out
In the trust you've seen your path on home

Cause you're going home
You're running free
As only you would be if you never owed them anything
And now, you found your path home
In the trust you've seen your path on home

Spend your time well before you go
Here in hell

Coheed and Cambria is an American rock band from Nyack, New York. Formed in 2001, the group incorporates aspects of progressive rock, punk rock, metal and post-hardcore.
Coheed and Cambria's albums have conceptual themes that reveal a science fiction storyline called The Amory Wars, a story written by lead singer Claudio Sanchez, which has been transcribed into a series of comic books, as well as a full length novel. The band's most recent release 'The Color Before The Sun' is the first album not associated with 'The Amory Wars' Story line. The band has released eight studio albums, three live albums, and several special-edition releases. In 2008, the band held a four-day concert series, Neverender, during which they played their first four studio albums in succession. Their fifth studio album, Year of the Black Rainbow, which is a prequel to the series, was released on April 13, 2010.
