Lizzie Nunnery (born in Liverpool in 1982) is a British alt-folk singer-songwriter and playwright. She also records as Lizzie Nunnery & Vidar Norheim.

Following the release of her EP, “Hungry,” in 2008, Nunnery played a host of venues and festivals across the UK including support for Chris Wood, J.D Souther and Jim Moray. She has made several appearances on BBC Radio including a live performance on Radio 3. Her debut album was released by Fellside Records in April 2010.

Nunnery is also an award-winning playwright, with her stage play “Intemperance” receiving a 5-star review in The Guardian newspaper. Her play with songs, “The Singer”, was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in November 2008 and she co-composed the soundtrack to her short film that was broadcast on Channel 4 in September 2009.

The duo Lizzie Nunnery & Vidar Norheim has released an album "Black Hound Howling "and two EPs: "Songs of Drink and Revolution" and "Narvik" featuring songs from her acclaimed show of the same name.
