sejayno have been on a long journey touring cities across the country, crafting homemade instruments, combining tablas and oscillators, shamanic drums and trumpets, now lights, lasers, and videos. we seek to be radical, to confuse, but we also want to trance you, or to sometimes be quite pleasing. sejayno is interested in "reverse time marketing", as a means to reveal the facelessness of time. we practice "reverse time marketing" by composing a whole marketing campaign for Scion without them knowing it. From our new album, Quantus, the hit single "Alien Eyes / Scion" sets the funky, urban, "sex-in-the-city-loft" tone. This music spawns video commercials for the box-car, simple treatments based upon "modified humans" with alien eyes, driving a Scion through various earthly situations; getting gas, getting a latte, shopping, driving to the wilderness, partying. sejayno features three poets from three different backgrounds. Carson Garhart, a Baltimore theosophist/hermeticist, is inspired by Lenny Breau too. Severiano Martinez, from Ohio, is basically an opera buff, and he brings the goth muff and phantom horse-kick to the stage. Peter Blasser was a poet in high school, now he's a technician of reproducing the intention and euphoria which he felt when he was 15. sejayno is interested in overlaying time periods, such as Aberdeen, WA, 1990, overlayed over the Ancient Greek Isle of Lesbos. If executed properly, the two can exist in a petri dish of sound-agar, taking the listener into the interstitial "wormhole" realms between times. sejayno will tour soon, after gathering several key materials, hi-fidelity tube amplifiers found in trash, a Scion car with gas-card, fermented drugs, homeopathic cures, and recognition in the theosophical headquarters in southern Illinois.
