Since forming in 2005 The BASIQS have successfully mixed razor sharp rap with an alternative pop/rock edge,to create a truly unique sound. From producing their own tracks to creating their own marketing materials, these socially aware, avante-garde, risk takers, are quickly proving themselves to be true renaissance men. Their debut LP "Your Life is Calling" and the band’s sophomore release “This Lie” have received rave reviews, while turning even those whom hate rap music into fans.


They have recently upped their game with their latest release"Jet Pack" which contains some of their hottest music, ever. With rock infused tracks like"Run" and "She Won't" to the headnodic "iRobot" or the throwback vibe of "80's Baby", The BASIQS are poised to open some minds about what Hip Hop is and can be. While deftly blending genres, playing with everyone from Rock acts to hardcore rap, its clear that everything this group does for comes from a pure unpolluted love for the Hip Hop culture.
