M.I.O.S. (Mushrooms in our Shoes) was a Czech industrial band. Mysterious duo consisting of two industrial performers David Urban and Benedikt Nosek is a specific chapter in the history of Czech extreme music of the second half of the 80's. Simple ritual esthetics, noisy tapes, intensive work with metal and iron material, noises and abusing of musical and non-musical instruments are the main elements of M.I.O.S.'s music. The project was also engaged in legendary rehearsal place of Bubeneč Sewer Station called „Shithauz“. Sixth release of CS Industrial label shows M.I.O.S. in the blossom of their creativity during their live performance on the first Festival of Industrial music in club Delta in Prague which happened in April of 1989.
