Luik released their first EP on Samling-Recordings and their debut album is set to release early 2012.
Luik has played numerous club-shows and festivals all around the Netherlands and Belgium including Le Guess Who? Festival.

Luik is born in 2008 when Oli (drums/vocals) meets Lio (synth) in their common practice place. The idea is to make a loud and heavy music. We started to play together the 2 of us, and really quick (± 3month), Ivan (guitar) joined the band. Five songs see the darkness of the day under this line up.
Then Boris (bass) joined the band to weight the athmosphere again. The line up was found and ready to go on stage! After a few gigs, Ivan quit the band for family reasons.
Gab took the guitar and the experience could continue. Three new songs were done. Enough! It was time to go record it for posterity.
