Elizabeth Borg:
Vocals, Lyrics, On-Stage Antics

Music is a curse and an addiction, and Aaron Dlugasch has been struggling with
that addiction since he was a child.
Like many children who were a considered a little “different”, or “strange” he
learned early on that the world can sometimes be a dark and lonely place. In an
effort to pass the time, he picked up a guitar and pair of drum sticks and hasn’t
put them down since.
It wasn’t long until Aaron realized that music was his ticket to acceptance, so he
actively sought out other like-minded nerds, freaks, and outcasts with the
intention of starting a band.
That year, Aaron’s band [Displaced Aggression] played the school talent show –
and before they knew it, they had gone from being absolute nobodies to local
heroes.
It was then that his musical addiction had solidified into a debilitating handicap.
Music distracted him from his responsibilities and obligations as he obsessively
studied song-writing, music theory, rhythm theory, and orchestration.
Years later, Aaron is much more than a musician – he is an accomplished film
composer, audio engineer, sound designer, song-writer, and entrepreneur.
As an adult he thought he finally kicked the habit… That was until a film director
had commissioned Aaron to take a break from composing for film, and write an
actual song for use in his movie.
The director specifically requested a female vocalist, which prompted Aaron to
reach out to Elizabeth Borg: an extremely talented singer known for her powerful
voice, intense live performances, outgoing personality, and sex appeal.
Elizabeth agreed to take on the project, resulting in a song called “The Worst In
Me.”
The response to that song was so positive and powerful that Elizabeth and Aaron
were left with no choice but to continue working together, and “Our Flaws
Remain” was born.
