There may be more than one artist recording as O.T.C., but one was a jangle-pop, indie pop, alternative rock group from Anniston, AL who formed in 1990. Originally called The Official Terrorist Club (after their song "The Official Terrorist Club" song), the name was soon shortened to O.T.C. for obvious reasons. Drawing on influences such as The Church, early R.E.M., early U2, The Cure, and the Velvet Underground, they created a unique sound featuring acoustic guitars, melodic bass, layered and harmonic vocals and a combination of mechanistic drums and acoustic percussion. Band members were Will Chandler (vocals, guitar, keyboards, drums, other instruments), Jamie Hill (guitars, vocals, keyboards) and Pete Sexton (bass, guitar, keyboards, other instruments).

O.T.C. developed a loyal following in their home town and had fans outside of Alabama, as well, despite often being heckled as "not being a real band...you don't have a drummer."
