Bill Brimer is the Worship Arts Leader at SoulThirst Church in Coppell, TX. Bill performs music every Sunday at STC. He grew up in Dallas and brings a streetwise depth to his songwriting. His influences include Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Steve Earle and his musical tastes range from hardcore punk to traditional hymns. Love Above All is his debut solo effort. He’s performed in original rock and country bands throughout his life and in a variety of acts has played shows at such festivals as SXSW and NXNW. After taking a hiatus from music scenes in Austin, Dallas and Houston, he returned to songwriting in 2010 and released a diverse Gospel side project with drummer Richie Deegan called Snakes & Doves. All proceeds from Snakes & Doves songs go to Bill’s humanitarian non-profit SoulThirst Africa, which installs clean water wells in Uganda, Ethiopia and Kenya. He has been involved in international mission work in the United States, Communist China, Hong Kong and Africa. He founded SoulThirst Sound (a subsidiary of SoulThirst Church) to release his music free to listeners.
