SCHOENBURG [shown-berg] is an American folk/pop trio consisting of Billy Schoenburg, Dane Hoppe, and Graham Wakeman. Hailing from Illinois and Michigan, Schoenburg met both Hoppe and Wakeman while attending school in the Twin Cities.

With Folk Pop melodies and lyrics reminiscent of Paul Simon, Schoenburg's songwriting asks that you not worry, while Wakeman and Hoppe’s arrangements and performances agree.

Currently, their debut EP, “Short, but Sweet” is set for release on March 2nd, 2012, with their debut album, “Hydrophobia & Identity Insecurities”, scheduled for release on July 4th, 2012.

When playing live, you might see Schoenburg playing guitar or banjo, Wakeman playing bass, banjo, or guitar, or Hoppe playing percussion, with three-part harmony and melodica/organ appearances throughout.
