Chris Doyle (1988) is an American pianist, born and raised in Seal Harbor, Maine, United States, but now based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. A multi-instrumentalist, as a matter of fact. He is an improv musician and composer, raised on rock 'n roll, schooled in jazz, with a deep love for classical music, soul, Afro beat and what not. Musically, he does many things. One day he creates a music installation with his Amsterdam-based arts collective Touki Delphine; the next day he tours Kurdistan with singer Meral Polat. He also makes solo piano records, at home. He even played improvised piano music for his wife, while she was giving birth to their child. His solo piano album, For Arie, came out in 2023 on Dutch record label, Excelsior Recordings.
