David Cousino, born 17 June 1958. Strongly influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore, Eric Clapton, and Jeff Beck in his developing years. Then shifted to "fusion" and earlier swing styles of jazz guitar.

Cousino performed with United States Air Force bands 1983- 2005, becoming highly accomplished in a myriad of guitar styles. Cousino immersed himself in the "spit picking" country guitar styles of Roy Nichols, and Ray Flacke during the late '80's and early '90's, but never abandoned the need for sophisticated harmonic content.

Since leaving the Air Force Cousino has begun releasing his own music. His initial release "Wind Over Texas" showcases his songwriting and multi-style approach, with top-notch studio production.

He released "A Christmas Sampler" in 2008. A duet with pianist Dave Haworth. An improvised piano and guitar album in the style of the Bill Evans and Jim Hall classic jazz duo recordings.
