Progressive, pop rock, fusion, blues, jazz, and more. All of these musical genres wrapped into a little ball we call Lobster Newberg. Lobster Newberg is a progressive rock band based out of Chicago. Originally forming in 2006, the outfit consisted of Colin Peterik (keys, vocals), Sean Briskey (guitars, vocals), Will Gumbiner (bass), and Victor Vieira-Branco (drums, percussion). After releasing their first album "Vernal Equinox" in March of 2007, the band went on a brief hiatus in October 2007. Regrouping with a new lineup, LN consisted of Phil Miller (guitars), Corey Kamerman (bass), Jamie Dull (drums, percussion), and Colin Peterik (keys, vocals). The band completed a national tour, and released their second album "Actress" in 2009. The band broke up again not long after.
Currently, a reincarnation of Lobster Newberg is said to be in progress. The new lineup brings a combination of both previous lineups and currently is Colin Peterik (keys, vocals), Sean Briskey (guitars, vocals), Phil Miller (guitars, vocals), Will Gumbiner (bass), and Jamie Dull (drums, percussion). They plan on releasing a new album by the end of 2011. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
