Larry Conklin is an Acoustic Guitarist, Singer-Songwriter, an Instrumental Finger Stylist, a Slide Guitarist, an Interpreter of Traditional Blues and a Music Journalist.

After the release of his first album, the independently produced "Jackdaw" (from which came the regional hit 'River of Stories' in the Pacific Northwest), he moved to Italy and then to Germany, where he began his recording career in earnest signing with Tukan Records and releasing seven CDs worldwide. The ever-popular "Dolphin Grace" was proclaimed CD of the Month by the European journal "Audio". His follow-up CD, "The Poet's Orchestra", received the same award twice from the music journals "Stereoplay" and "Audio".

For 23 years Conklin has performed throughout Europe, often sharing the stage with such diverse artists as Blues Great Memphis Slim, the legendary Folk Guitarist John Renbourn, the Chinese Harpist Xu Feng Xia, Blues Artist John Hammond, Beat Poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti and for four years he was the Guitarist for Blues Singer 'Guitar Crusher.'

He has contributed soundtrack to a variety of films including "The Dolphin's Touch", from Wyke Farmer Productions England, and numerous environmental and travel programs for German television.

For eight years he was a contributing writer for "Akustik Gitarre" in Germany.

After returning to America in 2002, Conklin has released three CDs on his own label 'LC2 Music': "Sudden Flight" with partner Candy Cooper and "Bittertruth", songs of lost and found with stellar performances from John Renbourn, Windham Hill Bassist Michael Manring and virtuosic Blues Harpist Andreas Scherer, highlights being 'The Part Time Ascetic,' 'Balcony of Tears' and 'On the Road', Conklin's homage to his one-time neighbor Jack Kerouac.
