Mostly Harmless belongs to the bands that make hard sound. You would probably choose genres like „Nu Metal“ or „Melo-Core“. But if you expect now only dreary shouting parts with minutelong guitar solos, then you are very wrong. Gentle, melancholic songparts culminate in huge sound torments, the vocals change from brute shouting-parts to melodic singing-parts, only to drown a little later in deep melancholy. The interplay of these different components makes Mostly Harmless something truly special: the fusion of music, emotion and energy.
