Amy moved down to Austin, TX in July of 2004 to pursue her dreams of becoming a singer-songwriter. Without a band and without a name for herself, she played little coffee shops for people with Ipods on for a little over a year. Luckily, the depression ended in 2006, when Ed Boeneke joined Amy on the drums, and things started to take off from there. Luke Denton (keys) joined the band in 2007 and the three of them played as a trio for about a year. They went on their first Midwest and East US tour in June of 2008, and came home to form the rest of their band when Chuck Knott joined them on the guitar, followed soon after by Tim Shelburne on the bass. They were signed by Tiny Hawk Records in January 2008 to promote their first release, “Something To Fear”.
