Fat Old Donald was founded in 2014 when they released the album Tangerine Chicken Won't Fool Nobody at Brno's X Production. At this moment, the genre of the group was more of an alternative rock with elements of songwriting, psychedelia and ambient, but it was mostly a sound experimental, but easily graspable composition on a relatively standard compositional basis. At the end of 2014, the genre direction began to change significantly, the band joined the pair Pospisil - Ladzijanský from Kromeriz - Superego Kid and the style transformed into primarily instrumental postrock, minimalism and ambient with original composing elements and unpredictable course of compositions, referring to classical music approaches.
