Trọng Tấn (aka Trong Tan) was born in 1976 in Thanh Hoá province (Viet Nam). He started to join art activities when hes was a Đào Duy Từ pupil (Thanh Hoá). After the high school graduation, Trọng Tấn joined Hà Nội Conservatory of Music. 8 years later, he became a teacher of this conservatory of music.

Some awards:
- Winner of Hà Nội Best Singers (1997).
- Winner of National on-Television Best Singers (1999).
