1) Born in the very beginning of 2003 out of the ashes of two local bands in their hometown of Tallahassee, Florida...HOPESICK has been wrecking stages and passing out on bars, as well as occasionaly playing their own signature blend of punk, hardcore and catchy pop hooks. The band consists of three best friends: Brad Buckenheimer (Drums, Vocals), Brian Razzano (Guitar, Vocals), and Steve Young (Bass, Vocals). Just two months after forming, the band went into the studio to record a 5 song EP and then hit the road on two East coast tours to support. After signing with a local Florida indie label, the boys went back to the studio to record a full length CD entitled "Look What You've Done", and then trekked out to the far reaches of the United States playing over 400 shows in the span of two years, playing with amazing bands like Strung Out, Comeback Kid, Break The Silence, A Wilhelm Scream, Evergreen Terrace, Smoke Or Fire, The Sleeping, Against Me!, Modern Life Is War, Catch 22, Near Miss, Fight Paris, Blacklisted, Much The Same, Calico System, The Warriors, Embrace The End, Terror, Hawthorne Heights, Seventh Star, The Letters Organize, Whole Wheat Bread, Blackout Pact, Plain White T's, Select Start and many others while also managing to graduate from college, and put on shows in their local scene. The bands unique sound ranges from the earlier melodic hardcore bands such as Kid Dynamite, Lifetime and The Movielife to the speedy So-Cal skatepunk bands like Lagwagon and NOFX. With strong work ethic and an amazing live show, the band's message is where they hope to connect the most with their fans, and hope to improve on a stagnant scene filled with kids who don't care about bettering themselves, their music scene and the world around them. The trio is about to enter the studio again in March and are currently looking to find a new home on a label and get back on the road for the rest of their lives.
2) Hopesick was a band comprised of former Dragpipe members Jai Diablo (Vocals) & Gino (Guitars), along with Cesar (Guitars), Mike (Bass) & Kid Cass (Drums). They never recorded a full length, but they played a number of shows in the Northeastern U.S., as well as recording several demos. Read more on Last.fm.
