Alan Sparhawk is an American musician, songwriter and singer from Duluth, MN, United States, who is best known as the male half of the duo Low (1993-2022), which he formed with his wife, the late Mimi Parker (1967-2022).

Also from Duluth, MN, Trampled by Turtles is an American, bluegrass-influenced folk band.
