"Haang Upps isn't a new band, they have been around since 1996 and this is their 5th full length already. They consider theirselves to be an innovating band with an unique sound, out to challenge the hardcore world. Musically you can compare Haang Upps with Refused. They have the same rock influenced parts mixed up with metallic hardcore. But then again they also reminded me of the average band from a label like Trustkill and Vcitory. Haang Upps knows how to surprise and isn't afraid of trying new things. Influences range from rock'n roll to punkrock, from metal to emo, from hardcore to techno. The album itself is pretty decent and features 11 innovative, quality songs. Most songs are real winners especially "truth", "filled with some regrets", "hidden side" and "overheat".
