Tool Lyrics

fast and clean
in his rhythm machine
he goes down to the beach
but little does he know
the girls down there
are out of his reach

he has a good time
but drinks too much wine
he's headed for
the disaster of a lifetime
and now the guys
from the bad boy club
are callin' out his name

he goes down to the liquor store
to buy himself a beer
he parks his truck
with a ten inch lift
and stickers that sayd NO FEAR
out of his truck he struts inside
with his OAKLEY cool dudes shades
he says his parents
bought me this truck
because in high school
i got good grades

he went back to check out a band
at a local grunge band bar
he saw a man who
was screaming out loud
playing "e" chords on his guitar
it's on the radio
it's on the video
it's in the stores
and all the tv shows

and now the guys
in the bad boy club
are calling his name

Buck-O-Nine formed in a small warehouse in the early part of 1991. Based in San Diego, the band was on the horizon of a change in the music industry. At the time the catch phrase was “Grunge.” The band was eager to take a different path. With their backgrounds in Punk/Metal bands, Reggae bands and 2nd wave Ska bands, Buck-O-Nine had the formula for what was to become a new mutation of sounds. Inspired by the early founders of this new sound, Buck-O-Nine admired the works of Fishbone, Operation Ivy, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and the Voodoo Glow Skulls.

Buck-O-Nine has released several albums including Songs in the Key of Bree, Barfly, Twenty-Eight Teeth, and Libido.

Currently Buck-O-Nine still plays shows for fun. They have re-connected with the positive, fun vibe that the band originated from.
