Mylar were Michael Rattray and Gavin Kelly, formerly of Perth, UK's The Jennifers (not to be confused with the pre-Supergrass band of the same name).

Mylar released one EP ('Found Some Method') in 1999 and a single via the now-defunct Peoplesound website. Musically, they played a type of skewed indie-pop not dis-similar to the Super Furry Animals or the Beta Band.

Rattray has continued to perform and record with the Michael Rattray Allstars (featuring Kelly), releasing the album 'Petticoat Government' in 2000. Latterly the duo have reconvened as Radars, whose 2007 album 'Planet Silence' features a re-recording of "New Universe".
