Kid Carter (Carter Hammond, 20), was born in Peterborough, New Hampshire. He is an independent electronic and hip-hop producer/artist, based out of Boston, MA. He is currently a student at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, focusing on video and sound art. He got his start through VJing basement shows and underground dance parties. He eventually got into DJing, and was soon creating original tracks in his bedroom in addition to his mixes. While he has not yet made any official releases, he has a number of tracks available for listening and is expected to release a full-length album in 2010.
