The Abbreviations. Abbreviations. Abbreeves. Abbrvs. Andy, Dave, Fraser and Nick have been honing their alt-rock sound under the sometimes smoggy, sometimes sunny skies of Hamilton, Ontario.

Since 2006, Abbreviations have grown as a group, playing shows across Ontario with the likes of Arkells, Grizzly Bear, Huron, Tokyo Police Club, Most Serene Republic and Sloan.

Friends, bands, and fans alike are anticipating the release of the first full length Abbreeves album, entitled Bullfighter, which was recorded at The House of Miracles under the watchful eye of Andy Magoffin.
