Toronto based Jamie Kidd is a funk and jazz bassist turned electronic producer and dj. His taste for the unknown and skills as a musician inspire him to take the spirit of live music and improvisation into every performance. In one of the most vibrant electronic scenes in North America, Jamie has quickly established himself as one of the premier techno, tech.house, and minimal dj's. As the resident for Platform and the Box of Kittens events in Toronto, he has performed alongside some of the world's most respected electronic artists such as Speedy J, Adam Beyer, Joel Mull, Trentemoller, Rob Hood, and Alex Under.

Since 2005, Jamie has released several singles and remixes on labels including Toronto's Thoughtless Music and California's Monism. In 2006, Jamie joined Frederik Hatsav to form Metalogic. Their collaborations have produced edgy, dynamic and highly rhythmic electronic music, releasing for such labels as New York's Addon, Brooklyn's Hidden Agenda and London's Perc Trax. The duo's 'Boxed and Warped' EP, and 'Surge Stimulator' EP were strongly supported by artists including Perc, Extrawelt, Cari Lekebusch, Alex Bau, Derek Plaslaiko, Tony Rohr, Dietrich Schoenemann, Frankie Bones, and John Selway.
