Mitch green is a 17-year-old instrumentalist guitarist/singer/songwriter. Mitch generally plays locally around the Gold Coast, Australia, and has become widely recognized because of his lively theatrical performances.

Initially, Mitch’s music career started when he was 13 when his Dad gave a 34-year-old classical guitar, Mitch’s first guitar. Being Greatly inspired by the likes of Tommy Emmanuel, John Butler and Jimi Hendrix it encouraged his Practicing for hours a day and the blistering his fingers. He was able to start writing his own songs and instrumentals and started to build a diverse playing set. Mitch’s first gigs were playing in coffee shops, churches, and private parties, anywhere he could find a crowd. He was always was applauded for giving an energetic lively performance.

A couple of years onwards, one of Mitch’s best friends Cameron Walsh, tragically past away from cancer. After this devastating loss Mitch lost all motivation for school and made the decision to journey onwards with his guitar and make his dreams reality.

In November 2007, Mitch decided to record his first album, Journey Man. The album was recorded in Sydney with Dale Willis, one of Mitch’s favourite guitarists. The album is inspired by and dedicated to his mate Cam Walsh who passed.

Through-out Mitch’s playing he has been lucky enough to share the stage with well-known Ausie band Kisschassy and fingerstyle champion Dale Willis. He has also had the pleasure of meeting Tommy Emmanuel, Phil Emmanuel and also, Pete Murray and band. Mitch Also was asked to play at the Quiksilver Pro (08) at all the private parties and functions where he introduced to the Beautiful girls band, Kelly Slater and Mic Fanning and Andrew Johns, which has opened a door for many opportunities.

Mitch is currently working closely with a lot of local bands doing session work, as well as planning gigs for Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Coffs Harbour, playing at venues all along the East coast. He will also be playing at the Woodford festival, Tamworth festival, East coast blues and roots festival and many other festivals around Australia.
