There are at least two bands that shared the name SST:

1. A San Francisco, California punk band featuring future Flipper guitarist Ted Falconi who released on 7" EP in 1977 titled "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind".

2. A thrash metal band from long island whose sound is sure to make the dopest of titties bounce.
