ライチ☆光クラブ (Litchi☆Hikari Club) was the special project of Penicillin vocalist HAKUEI and Doberman Inc. Hakuei had produced music for the Litchi☆Hikari Club anime and decided to create a band to express the world of Litchi☆Hikari Club through music, inspired by the original manga written by Furuya Usamaru. The band had several support members with the lineup constantly rotating. In September 2013, GISHO, the former bassist of Penicillin, joined Hakuei in the project as an official member, but is presumed he had left at a point prior to the release of the album Jesus Christ Hyperstar as he was no longer listed as a member in their tour lineup. As of 2016, the band has disbanded and their last known activity is when the song Marchen☆Jack was used as the ending theme of the Litchi☆Hikari Club movie. Read more on Last.fm.
