CURB SERVICE is the moniker for ex-Lorenzo Goetz founder, front man, guitarist, songwriter Larry Gates. The album, Little Red Recovery Room is a collection of songs new and old on which Gates plays most instruments (credits include vocals, guitar, bass, keys, turntables, percussion and beat programming). He is supported in large by former bandmate and beat maker Josh Miethe. Here, the organic sounds of LG are replaced by more beat-driven tunes but the undeniable catchy pop melodies still endure.

Over the years, Gates has toured countless miles around the country playing legendary stages such as CBGB, The Bitter End (New York), Abbey Pub, Hard Rock Cafe, Millenium Park (Chicago), The Pageant (St. Louis), Fine Line (Minneapolis) and sharing bills with the likes of Chuck Berry, G. Love & Special Sauce, Motion City Soundtrack, 30 Seconds to Mars and Local H

He has also appeared on several local releases including Krukid's African (Rawkus), elsinore's Nothing For Design, both Lucky Mulholland EPs Pedestrians & Motorists and Le Petite Rendezvous, Mike Ingram's One Less Tomorrow and many more.
