New Jersey native Joe Pompeo developed his taste for house music early on, visiting the famed rooms of New York’s underground club scene. These early roots eventually lead him to develop his taste for solid beats with a funk edge. In 2008, Joe’s first major release on prominent house label Salted Music caught the attention from some of the major players on the house scene.

Not only is Joe busy with his production, he has a weekly Sunday party at Mix Lounge that has kept the crowd coming back for over 3 years. Guest spots have brought him into venues such as Avalon, Sullivan Room, Sin Sin and Sapphire Lounge.

As co-owner of a commercial recording studio, Joe keeps his ears sharp and open to many different musical genres. His grasp of engineering has helped him shape his own sound while being able to add a more organic feel to his music. Joe’s latest release can be found on Salted Music’s Flavor Saver Vol. 3 EP. Other Projects can be found on Nervous, Getaway Records and Abstract Recordings.
