There are 2 artists known as kz. 1) KZ is a japanese rapper from Osaka and part of the collective UMEDA CYPHER. 2) kz (also known as RE:NDZ and livetune) is a sound producer, arranger, and remixer from Japan.

1) KZ is a Japanese musician that specializes in modern Hip-Hop. KZ's blending of Hip-Hop with various other genres, such as R&B, Jazz, and Soul, have made his music stand out. It has been said that KZ's music is soulful, emotional, profound and thought-provoking.

His songs incorporate personal experiences to produce realistic and sincere tales. KZ's music has received noteriety for its capacity to engage listeners on a profound level while addressing subjects like love, sorrow, and self-discovery.

KZ has developed a sizable fan base recently as a result of his aptitude for making music that cuts across cultural and international borders. KZ is proof that there is always room for fresh voices in music, and his music has demonstrated how Hip-Hop is a genre that can continue to develop and flourish.

2) Also known for his work as a producer for the unit ClariS. kz has released several albums and tracks on various doujin circles at several doujin events, but web labels such as maltine records have also published his work and are freely downloadable from their website. His work has also appeared on a few Project Diva and EXIT TUNES albums.

While the circle/unit livetune originally consisted of two people (kz and kajyuki), at present it only consists of kz.

kz mainly produces electro(-pop)/house, but can mostly be seen producing 'colourful' techno pop on the livetune albums.
