Born in Brooklyn, NY...Raised everywhere else. M.E.L. Grew up in a military environment giving him the opportunity to see a diverse range of culture throughout his life. Jesus Christ is the focal point and hip hop is the bridge. No..This is not "Gospel" hip hop...in the sense of what most people would assume..rather..M.E.L. takes a "real" approach to life through his expression of rhyme and reason. "How can you connect with somebody unless you first build a bridge wit 'em".
