A staple and longtime veteran of the NY underground scene I-Cue has made more than just a little noise. With production drawing from diverse musical backgrounds, he has done countless music from trip hop, to Hip Hop, to a resounding style of Drum & Bass. A true innovator in a world of followers, the Spanish Harlem native continues to push the envelope while representing his hometown.

I-Cue’s range of production started early with numerous acid jazz / hip hop releases dating back to 1994 on the memorable New Breed Records. From early building experiences in the NY nightlife and rave culture he eventually linked up with the legendary Dj Soulslinger and signed to his famed Liquid Sky Label in 1996. With a keen sense of understanding melodies, breakbeats, electronic music and jungle/DnB ‘Cue was able to craft plenty of amazing singles with the label which lead to is debut album “Ingenious Creations & Unique Experiments” in ’99. The following year he linked up with friend and hungry lyricist T.R.A.C. in which the tandem created the well-received NYC Jungle anthem “Next Level $hit. A crafty innovative cut, the song brought both artist to the forefront as the record established charting and was exposed thru many festivals and events stateside. It was ‘Cue’s encouragement towards the MC get on the tune which has lead T.R.A.C. to move on and become a prominent artist worldwide and is currently a V Recordings stand out.
