Bobby Tenna is a rising star in the reggae industry. The multi talented, singer, song writer, and producer brings a fresh new voice and songs with powerful and uplifting messages to the Reggae community and beyond. In 2007 Bobby reached a long awaited goal, releasing his first album, Give Thanx 4 Life. This album includes thirteen original tracks of conscious music, and is playing on radio station world wide receiving many enthusiastic and positive reviews. 2007 also saw three singles in Jamaica, Battlefield, U Got My Luv, and Red Alert. The single Battlefield, produced by No Doubt Records JA, was also featured on the Greensleves 83 Riddim CD, garnering the following review on the Greensleves web site “Bobby Tenna sounds like he could go far”, a strong endorsement. Music has always been a major part of Bobby’s life. His passion was ignited in church, as a young boy he was a member of the choir, and as a teen he was a part of one of the best accapella groups in the Montego Bay area. He soon made his way to Kingston where he recorded singles for producers Smiley Minot and Junior Fraser, to name a few. The journey continued as a cabaret singer in many of the top, resorts across the island. Bobby says “Performing in the hotels was like going to college, it allowed me to perfect my craft”. The past few years have been spent performing in many venues, writing music and recording material for his much anticipated album, Give Thanx 4 Life. Even with all the success of 2007, 2008 looks to be even better. Already deep into the recording of his second album, Words and Melody, Bobby is planning the release of the first single It’s not easy, and getting ready for a spring tour as well as a video shoot.
