From the farthest galaxy, originating from the planet Glimmer, comes Sounds of ASTEROTH. A band of alien musicians with one common goal, to rock the planet Earth. 100 years ago the ASTEROTH crew crash-landed their diamond-shaped spacecraft into the Los Angeles Beverly Center Mall. Right smack in the middle of Sunglass Hut. That evening, Sounds of ASTEROTH played their very first earthling show to uproarious applause, at the Beverly Center food court.



Sounds of ASTEROTH have been described by fanatics as the illegitimate baby of Lady GaGa and The Rocky Horror Picture Show raised by gay dads John Waters and Ricky Martin. Perhaps that description is due to the super spectacular glitter performances that the gang are famous for. The seductive magic of the live shows seems to stem directly from the epicenter of the group, lead singer Mr. Martin Von Sexxxy. A bilingual imp (yes he also rocks in Espanol) that not only wrote the show, but also created all the clothes out of everyday earth items such as gumdrops, cereal boxes, plastic cups, tissue paper and anything else usually perceived as trash (that’s right, Sounds of ASTEROTH are green).



While Mr. Martin is truly the commander of Sounds of ASTEROTH, the entire crew is clearly celestially gifted as well. With Cosmo Von Politan (proprietor of Bedrock Music Studio) rocking extra hard on drums. Gabriel Von Lead and Rich Von Rythme shredding on the electric guitars. David Seville and Ugenius burning up on bass and sax. Cherry Nova, Pink and Berry harmonizing on sweet and supportive vocals. And dancing up a firestorm, doused in sparkle and magic, are the eyepealing Frosted Lip dancers. Who are simply called: Cream Fillin’, Puddin’, Snow Cone, and Strawberry Icing. Read more on Last.fm.
