Jencarlos Canela (born April 21, 1988) is an American actor and musician. He is best known for playing the leading roles in the telenovelas Más Sabe el Diablo and Mi Corazón Insiste.

Canela was born in Miami, Florida, to Cuban parents. His father came from Cuba to the United States on the Mariel Boatlift. He graduated in 2006 from the New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida, with honors. Canela began his music career at the age of 12, in the Miami based band Boom Boom Pop. In 2002, he began recording songs as a soloist. He performed at Miss World 2004 and Miss World 2005.

In 2006 was chosen to star in a commercial for Ford, and composed the song used in the commercial. Canela has composed songs in English, Italian, German and Portuguese, and plays the piano, guitar and drums. On November 10, 2009, Jencarlos will be releasing his firs debut album "Buscame", produced by Rudy Pérez. The first single from this album is "Amor Quédate", witch was released to the radios on Oct 05, 2009, it is one of the loved themes song from his Telemundo's Telenovela "Más Sabe el Diablo".
