Bio: Prime Meridian was first formed in the fall of 2011, after the breakup of their former band “The Eros Blueprints”. Eric Fletcher and Shae Portner started the music as a side project/experiment for about a month before officially starting the band, just recording rough demos of riffs. Struggling for inspiration, members, and a new band name for about two months, guitarist, Eric Fletcher bought a 7 string and wrote the entire EP within a few weeks. Within a week Shae Portner, vocalist, wrote lyrics for and recorded all three songs. Although currently there are only two members, Prime Meridian recorded their first EP called Intersections on winter break and released it in mid February. Currently, Prime Meridian is working on writing a new single, and is looking to start a full length, as well as make a music video and take promos.
